SHIPPING & PAYMENT INFORMATION

PAYMENT FOR PURCHASES
ALL ITEMS MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE THEY WILL BE SHIPPED.

WIRE TRANSFERS: If paying by wire transfer please have your bank call our office@ 207-453-2114 for the necessary information. Your items will be processed once we have confirmation of the transfer.

CHECKS: We accept personal, business, cashier checks and money orders. It is our policy that if you choose to pay by personal or business checks your items will be held a minimum of 10 business days before being processed by the shipping department.

CREDIT CARDS: We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover & American Express. PLEASE CALL OUR OFFICE TO PROVIDE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. 1-800-872-4406. Ask for the office manager – Elaine Stone, or the owners – Steve or Jeannine Poulin.

SHIPPING
1. All shipping charges are charged to a credit card.
2. Costs for shipping will include the following:
(a) The actual cost charged by your choice of carrier such as FedEx, UPS or USPS.
(b) Insurance – whether you choose the shipping carrier’s insurance, your own insurance or damage protection provided by our insurance carrier.
(c) Packaging Materials – You are charged for the boxes, labels, bubble wrap & peanuts.
(d) Labor – Labor rate for shipping is billed @ $22.00/hour. Minimum charge is 15 minutes.
3. It is your choice of carrier - Fed Ex, UPS or USPS.
4. It is our policy that all long arms be double boxed.
5. We reserve the right to refuse to ship and or insure an item we deem too fragile, delicate or bulky.
6. All firearms and any items that are insured by Poulin’s Damage Protection are required to have
signature confirmation.

INSURANCE
Because of numerous experiences with FedEx, USPS & UPS ( Their refusal to pay when damages occur in shipping), we now use a special outside insurance company for damage protection of goods we ship. The charge for insurance is $ .55 cents per $100.00 up to $ 50,000.00. Over $ 50,000.00 our insurance company quotes the remaining charge.

If you wish to use UPS, USPS, FedEx, or your own insurance for you items, You must sign on the other side of this form(under the SHIPPING METHOD SECTION) releasing Poulin Antiques & Auctions from any liabilities resulting from any lack of restitution from these shippers. We will not be responsible for any damages, lost or stolen items (packages), or responsible for these shippers refusal to fully compensate you for damages.

Items being insured will be valued at the purchase price (including buyer’s premium) only.


OUTSIDE THE US - INSURANCE LIMITATIONS. Our insurance carrier will not insure any items shipped to foreign countries. They also will not insure anything shipped by boat. If you wish, we can purchase insurance for you from the carrier – FedEx, USPS or UPS, etc,. However, under no circumstances would we be responsible for any losses or portions of losses not indemnified by the shipping carrier. Therefore, if UPS refuses to pay the claim or pays only a portion of the claim, Poulin’s Antiques & Auctions will bear no responsibility for any remaining portion. We therefore encourage all foreign customers to get their own insurance coverage that will protect them. If using an exporter, it may be possible to purchase insurance through them.

Again, If you wish to use UPS, USPS, FedEx, or any other insurance company for you items, understand that Poulin Antiques & Auctions will not be liable for any damages or lack of restitution.

By filling out the online shipping form are releasing Poulin Antiques & Auctions from any liabilities from this and understand that Poulin’s Antiques & Auctions do not insure items that are shipped to foreign countries. You also understand that you the buyer will need to obtain your own insurance coverage and again, release Poulins Antiques & Auctions from all liabilities for any loss or damage incurred in shipment since you are covered by your own choice of coverage.


THE ITEM(S) WILL NOT BE RELEASED FOR SHIPMENT IF THIS IS NOT SIGNED.

Under no circumstances will we declare less value than the actual sale price on any shipments out of the country.


PLEASE DO NOT ASK US TO SHIP AN ITEM TO YOU THAT IS ILLEGAL FOR YOU TO HAVE IN YOUR CITY, COUNTY, STATE OR COUNTRY.

* We certainly do not recommend shipping fragile items by the Economy Shipping method, and if you do select economy shipping, you must understand that while there is definitely a savings, there is a risk involved.
 
** If you choose to insure your item(s) yourself or have your choice of FedEx, UPS or USPS insure your items or not place any insurance on your items at all, then you must check the following box releasing Poulin’s Antiques and Auctions from all responsibility. The item (s) will not be shipped if this is not checked.

* Modern & Curio Long guns may be shipped ground or a speedier service if you choose.
