Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle. Cal. 25-20 WCF. S # 212533. Overall condition is very good. Bore is near excellent. Made 1903. 24" octagon barrel with full magazine. All correct features. The finish of the rifle forward of the receiver is very good to very good plus with only a slight bit of blue wear on the high corners. Action shows thinning blue, especially on the bottom. Very good case colors on the hammer and lever. Thinning blue on tang. Crescent butt plate shows cleaned oxidation and almost appears in the white. Forend is very good with hand worn varnish and very minor handling marks. Buttstock is somewhat dirty in the wrist area. Varnish is very good and some very light handling marks. Left side of receiver shows three or four very small spots of cleaned oxidation. The right side shows two. Extremely fine 1892. (08-371 / NW / ZC) Curio. Est. $ 2200 - 3000. VIEW PHOTO

Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle. Cal. 38-55. S # 15276. Overall condition is fair to good. Bore is fair to good. Made 1895. A special order rifle with the following features:  26” octagon takedown barrel, pistol grip buttstock with crescent butt, standard barrel sights and the desirable 38-55 caliber. Barrel has not been refinished. Still retains at least half of its finish with some patina along the upper surfaces at its midpoint. Magazine tube and takedown work fine but the tube is scratched where it goes through the front band. Front band shows repairs to retain it to the barrel. Takedown assembly is loose to the frame. The forend has hand worn all finish but does not appear to be reduced in dimensions. Buttstock still has the Winchester grip cap in nice condition but the stock has been stripped of its finish in a method that appears to be a mix of sandpaper and scraping. Just barely reduced dimensions, appears it could be refinished to look more authentic. Majority of the receiver is worn silver by handling. Bluing on the bolt is very good. Trigger pull is quite light. (01-1539 / NW / ZC)  Antique.

                Est. $ 800 - 1200. VIEW PHOTO

Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle. Cal. 44-40. S # 43931. Overall condition is fair to good. Bore is fair. Made 1894. 24" round barrel. All standard features. Shows cleaned oxidation and patina on receiver. Evidence of improper screwdriver use. Metal surfaces show patina. Receiver shows minor nicks and handling marks and evidence of freshly contacting a buffing wheel. Buttstock is good and does not appear dimensionally changed. Shows an old finish. Forend good dimensionally, missing a section on the right front section of the forend and is cracked on the lower left section of the front. Action seems fine but hammer spring missing or broken. Top of bolt shows cleaned, heavy oxidation. Bolt and top of receiver show some metal dings. (08-89 / NW / EG) Antique. Est. $ 800 - 1200.

Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle. Cal. 32-20. S # 198160B. Overall condition is good. Bore is good. Has 24” round barrel. Standard sights. Scattered light oxidation on many portions of the receiver. Dust cover is patina but functions well. Hammer and lever still show traces of case color. Stocks are dirty but do not appear to have been refinished. Screw heads show slight use. Has had a swivel added to the forend cap and a military style one screwed into the butt. There is an old crack because of this that is about 3” long. 3rd model with integral dust cover. (01-1537 / NW) Antique. Est. $ 1400 – 2000. VIEW PHOTO

Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle. Cal. 38-40. S # 561718B. Overall condition is good. Bore is very good. Made 1902. Third model. 24 3/8" octagon barrel. Very good shoot able bore shows a little wear. Original sights missing elevator on the rear. All metal surfaces show what appears to be an application of cold blue. Stocks have been refinished and reduced a bit in dimensions. Left side of buttstock has initials "ELG" running parallel to the butt plate, 3/8" tall, deeply stamped block letters. Left top mid-section of forend has a small piece of wood missing. Markings on brass lifter not visible. Perfect for cowboy action shooting. (08-91 / NW / EG) CURIO. Est. $ 1400 - 1900. VIEW PHOTO

Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle. Cal. 44-40. S # 437073B. Overall condition is fair. Bore is fair. Manufactured 1892. Has a 24” part round part octagon barrel with button magazine. Caliber on lifter is barely readable. Forend is dirty. Couple of gouges on the front lower corner. Has an old ivory bead front sight of the era and a replacement rear sight which does not appear to be Winchester manufactured. Overall patina finish. Sideplate screw shows use. Appears the firing pin is too short because while operating the lever it will not cock the hammer yet the hammer works fine without the lever. The left side of the buttstock has been lowered and scooped out so that someone with a full face would still be able to see the sights. The buttstock has been sanded and finished so it is below the metal. 3rd model with integral dust cover. (0-1484 / NW /LM) Antique. Est. $ 700 – 1000. VIEW PHOTO

Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle. Cal. 32-20. S # 309765B. Overall condition is fair to good. Bore is fair. Made 1889. 24” octagon barrel with full magazine. Standard rear sight and Rocky Mountain brass blade front sight. Buttstock and Forend are good with minor handling marks, dirty areas and some light scratches. Wood to metal fit is very good. Other than the rear tang screw, screw heads are good. (01-1538 / NW) Antique. Est. $ 800 – 1200. VIEW PHOTO

Winchester Model 94 Lever Action Rifle. Cal. 25-35 WCF. S # 1080565. Overall condition is good to very good. Bore is near excellent. Made in 1930. Referred to as an Eastern carbine with the earlier style carbine stock, no saddle ring, long wood forend. Regular style carbine rear sight with an extremely unusually sculptured front barrel band. Looks like typical Winchester production except that it is much higher, has a dovetail which contains the standard Lyman front sight. Foremost 6" of the barrel shows a faded finish. Magazine tube is very good. Rear portion of barrel shows a slight fading. Receiver shows light fading, but still very good. Very light oxidation around the finger lever loop area. Some of the receiver screws show screwdriver marks and even a couple light scratches around them. Butt plate shows little finish except at the top and some dirty storage residue. Stocks have not been refinished, only minor handling marks. Spotty finish especially on the buttstock and they have a dirty appearance. A very desirable Eastern carbine seldom seen in this caliber. (08-56 / NW / AW) CURIO. Est. $ 1700 - 2500.

Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle. Cal. 25-20. S # 71813. Overall condition is fair to good. Bore is fair. Made 1894. All original. Even patina finish throughout. Fine mechanical condition. Some damaged screw heads on the receiver. Wood is sound, dark and somewhat dirty with minor handling marks, no gouges or dents. 24 1/4" octagon barrel. Appears that it has been shortened to this length as the muzzle is not square but the patina finish shows this was done many years ago. (08-105 / NW / EG) Antique. Est. $ 900 - 1400. VIEW PHOTO

Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle. Cal. 38-40. S # 278999. Overall condition is good. Bore is good plus. Made 1905. 20" octagon barrel that does not appear to be cut from a longer barrel as overall length is actually 20 1/16". Front sight is original. Rear sight is bright blue and a later Model 94 rear sight. Left side of receiver has 2 D&T plugged holes for a receiver sight. All metal surfaces show a brown/plum patina finish. Extra varnish has been applied as the excess went on to the metal surfaces. Does not appear that the wood dimensions were reduced and the finish was applied many years ago. Has crescent buttstock and rifle length forend making it a "short rifle". The small screw for the tang rear sight is a filled hole but the head is not slotted. Mechanics are fine. Handy cowboy action gun. (08-381 / NW / CG) Curio. Est. $ 650 - 950. VIEW PHOTO

Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Rifle. Cal. 25-20. S # 917253. Overall condition is fair to good. Bore is fair to good. Made 1922. Saddle ring carbine with all correct features. Metal surfaces show a dull finish that appears to be a cold blue application. No evidence of buffing or polishing, likely just applied over a hand worn rifle. Bottom of magazine tube shows cleaned oxidation as does the forward 6" of the barrel. Stock set is very good. Buttstock is the better of the two, smooth finish, may have been redone but doesn't appear to have excess wood removed. Forend worn smooth and has minor handling marks.  (08-103 / NW / EG) Modern. Est. $ 900 - 1400. VIEW PHOTO

Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle. Cal. 38-40. S # 256809B. Overall condition is fair to good. Bore is fair. Made 1888. 24” round barrel. Has all standard features. Does not appear refinished at any point. Even patina over all metal surfaces. Chamber area shows evidence of a pipe wrench or vice jaws. Magazine ring at the front has been tightened and re-pinned. Forend cap shows metallic dings on the bottom front. The forend has a 2” crack at the bottom by the forend cap going backward. Numerous minor handling marks on the stock which is very dark and dirty. A big plus is the original 4 piece cleaning rod in the buttstock. Part of the value is because of the original cleaning rod. (01-1615 / NW / ZC) Antique. Est. $ 1700 – 2200. VIEW PHOTO

Winchester 1873 Lever Action Rifle. Cal. 44-40. S # 276803B. Overall condition is good. Bore is very good. Made in 1888. Has a 24 1/2" octagon barrel. Rifle has standard rear sight, replacement front sight. Very likely a 26" barrel that has been cut back. Third model with button magazine. Shows evidence of a refinish over light pitting. Barrel shows some vice marks. All of this forward of the forend. Lifter marking very clear. Buttstock is good but has a crack up abut 3/4" from the bottom. Will not affect it's use and not likely to spread. Wood to metal fit of buttstock is very good. Wood to metal fit of forend is almost very good but looks to possibly be not original. 1 or 2 damaged screw heads. Tang is D&T for tang sight. Mechanics are very good to excellent. Would make a great cowboy action rifle. (08-109 NW / EG)  Antique. Est. $ 1200 - 2000. VIEW PHOTO

Winchester 1885 Musket Falling Block Rifle. Cal. 22S. S # 116011. Overall condition is very good. Bore is near excellent. Made after 1913 and was discontinued in 1923 with # 139700. This is a high wall musket which is usually found in 22LR, this one marked Short. This is a 2nd model, with the wire spring for the hammer as opposed to the flat hammer spring. It is missing its rear sight and the attachment screw holes have plug screws in them now. Has a Lyman locking tang sight and a very old period Lyman load sight with circle bead post. The writing on the barrel shows that it has been refinished but the Winchester proof mark is very vivid and untouched. The forend cap has scattered pinprick oxidation. The top of the barrel between the band and the sight shows numerous metallic scratches. The receiver shows fading blue with the right side showing an even patina. The lever shows almost no case coloring and pinprick oxidation. Buttplate has very thin blue at the curvature. As only the levering on the barrel has the appearance of being refinished, it may have been redone at the factory and then proofed after. There is also some pinprick oxidation on the barrel band and swivels. Very unusual in 22S chambering. The chamber has actually been lengthened so that it takes a long rifle cartridge, or possibly it was miss-marked, most likely the former. (08-634 / NW / MW) Curio. Est. $ 900 - 1400. VIEW PHOTO

Winchester 1885 Falling Block Rifle. Cal. 22LR. S # 90913. Overall condition is very good. Bore is near excellent. Made in 1902. A standard sporting low wall with #1 half round, half octagon 24 “ barrel. Has Schnabel forend with black, ebony wedge. All metal surfaces show original finish. The portion of the barrel forward of the forend shows some very light, minor handling marks. The receiver shows some very light marks on the left side and one or two scratches where it might have been in some sort of a holder on the right side. The scratch is vertical, from about the hammer base area. There is some handling wear on the high points of the action. Case colors are very good on the hammer and falling block, and still some nice, light case colors on the lever along with some pinprick oxidation on the bottom. There is also some pinprick oxidation around the serial number. The crescent buttplate is in similar condition but is in much faded colors. It has a sight blank in the rear sight. The front sight is an old globe sight with cross wires. The rear sight is a 4 1/2 “ tall tang sight that, except for blue wear where ones hand would be on it, is in near excellent condition. Also, has a single set trigger. Stocks are in very good condition with perhaps some soiling in the handgrip area, very minor handling marks, and nice varnish. (08-635 / NW / MW) Curio. Est. $ 1500 - 2000. VIEW PHOTO

Winchester 1885 High Wall Falling Block Rifle. Cal. 32-40. S # 88830. Overall condition is very good  plus. Bore is good plus. Made in 1901. Has a 30" #3 octagon barrel. Rear barrel sight has a blank, has a Marbles tang sight, has double set triggers. Has been totally refinished. While not Turnbull quality, it is very nicely done. All markings are very well preserved. All contours sharp and crisp. The lever block and locks appear in the white. (08-286 / NW / RR) Curio. Est. $ 2000 - 3000.         VIEW PHOTO

Winchester 1885 Falling Block Rifle. Cal. 40-60. S # 44174. Overall condition is very good. Bore is near excellent. Made in 1889. Has a 30 “ #3 octagon barrel with standard sights. Has a marble tang sight marked “W9” and a target disk. The tang screw is much too short, likely for a model 94. Case colors are very good with some fading on the left side along with pinprick oxidation and much brighter on the right side, but again, with pinprick oxidation. The bottom of the lever and rear of the bottom tang have some pinprick oxidation. The face of the trigger has some active oxidation, but should clean easily. Forend is very good, but dark on its left sight which is part of the grain. The butt stock shows some minor handling marks and some very shallow minor dings. It has not been refinished. Both have good varnish. The bore is exceptional. Very unusual in this caliber. The exterior has not been refinished and shows most of its bluing, but there are two or three small spots of deep pitting about 6 in from the muzzle, some metallic marks on the barrel, forward of the forend, and some very minor spots of pinprick oxidation. A very nice high wall. (02-1322 / NW) Antique. Est. $ 2500 – 3500. VIEW PHOTO

Winchester 1885 Falling Block Rifle. Cal. 22RF. S # 3394. Overall condition is good plus. Bore is good. Made in 1889. A standard sporting low wall with 24 “ round barrel. Has Schnabel forend with black, ebony wedge. The barrel shows evidence of an older refinish. The receiver shows a pleasing, even patina. The lever and trigger show peppery oxidation that is active. Crescent buttplate has a similar appearance to the receiver. The buttstock fits well, shows no sign of refinish or dimensional change, has only minor marks, and very good varnish. The forend is dirty near the receiver, has more handling marks, and one dent on the forend on the right side in line with the retaining screw, and an older mark on the left side near the tip. (02-1323 / NW) Antique. Est. $ 800 – 1200. VIEW PHOTO

Has Schnabel forend with black, ebony wedge. Barrel has spots of cleaned heavy oxidation forward of the forend and lesser cleaned oxidation otherwise. The receiver, crescent buttplate, and finger lever show even, peppered, cleaned oxidation with no trace of case colors remaining. Two extremely small chips missing on the top front corners of the stock where it meets the frame. The buttstock fits well, shows no sign of refinish or dimensional change, has only average handling marks, and very good varnish. The forend has more handling marks especially in the area around the attachment screw about 1 ½ “ each way. (02-1324 / NW) Antique. Est. $ 700 – 1100. VIEW PHOTO

Fading bluing on magazine tube and barrel. Lever, action, barrel bands and butt plate show no finish and show some oxidation as well, especially on the receiver. Screw heads look very good with the exception of the rear tang screw. Stocks are dark, dirty, show numerous handling marks. Buttstock shows the most severe marks. Good wood to metal fit. Stocks have been worn noticeably by handling. Nice saddle ring carbine in very desirable caliber. (08-370 / NW / ZC) Curio. Est. $ 1000 - 1500. VIEW PHOTO

Buttstock has a longitudinal weather crack by the lower tang and does not fit the left side of the tang as tight as original. The spread is still less than 1/16” at the receiver. A significant portion of the value is determined by its very low serial number. (01-1483 / NW) Antique. Est. $ 800 – 1200. VIEW PHOTO

A   Francotte Jubilee Side by Side Shotgun. Cal. 12 Ga. S # 29905. Overall condition is very good plus. Bores are very good plus. Built on a #2 frame. The only hint of finish left is the case coloring on the inside of the fore-arm. Fore-arm is worn smooth. Buttstock is also very smooth and has been refinished. Has 29 1/2” barrels that measure modified and full. 14 1/2” LOP. Finish is very good plus, with just a hint of pinprick oxidation in the rear of the barrels where they would be gripped while carrying. Also, two or three other very light spots on barrels at various points. European swivel on the underside of the barrels and on the butt stock. Side lock action with double under lugs and scalloped fences. Finely engraved floral pattern with beautiful case colors on the locks and much case coloring still showing on bottoms of receiver and trigger guard. Case coloring is worn away by the fences, the thumb safety, and where it would be cradled in one’s hand while carrying. Has auto-ejectors, push button release splinter forend, round knob pistol grip butt stock with European style shadow lined cheek piece, grooved butt plate with widow’s peak. Extremely well made Austrian shotgun. Action is tight, but lever goes just slightly over center. (08-678 / NW) Curio. Est. $ 2000 – 2600. VIEW PHOTO

Has Pachmayr style double white line ventilated pad marked "WIESBADEN ROD AND GUN CLUB WEISBADEN GERMANY". Grip cap has white line spacer that appears to have been added after manufacture. Barrels are marked "Mich.Pegam - Ferlach" and "Bohler Stahl". Highly figured buttstock with pistol grip and shadow line cheek piece. Forend is beaver tail design but very slim in appearance. Has European sling swivels. Checkering is very fine. Stocks are very good with minor handling marks. Very nice German double. (08-304 / NW / RC) Modern. Est. $ 1000 - 1500. VIEW PHOTO

Parker VH SxS Shotgun. Cal. 12 Ga. S # 227101. Overall condition is very good. Bore is near excellent. Double trigger extractor gun made in 1928. 30” barrels measuring full and improved modified. All metal surfaces are near excellent. Do not believe it is a refinish after careful examination of the breech, underside of barrels and the action. Mechanically it is as tight as new. The case coloration on all surfaces is as new. Forend has been refinished but no wood dimension changes. One very light scratch on the bottom and the only real evidence of refinish is varnish on the inner surface. The buttstock is pistol grip with Parker grip cap and butt plate and initial shield in the bottom of the stock,  just behind the action about Ύ” is evidence of  a 5/16” dowel put through for strength and the vertical line where the receiver meets the stock is no longer perfect like when new. Buttstock refinished but looks like the period. If not for the wood, one would simply think this was a new Parker. (08-476 / NW / ZC)   Modern. Est. $ 2000 – 2700. VIEW PHOTO

Parker DH Side by Side Shotgun. Cal. 12 g. S # 73645. Overall condition is good. Bore is fair to good. Made in 1893. Has 30 “ barrels that measure modified in full. Built on a #3 frame. Has Damascus barrels with one noticeable dent on left barrel and an impact mark at muzzle. Right barrel has a couple of smaller dents of a sharper nature. Finish of the barrels is a faded brown patina. The engraved action is void of finish. The only evidence of case colors is primarily in the fore-end which is missing an internal screw, as is the trigger guard. Fore-end is worn such that checkering is barely visible and show numerous handling marks. Buttstock is in very good condition with initial plate being an oval rather than a shield. Also, has a skeleton buttplate. Action is somewhat loose that the lever is just barely over center. (08-507 / NW / CC) Antique. Est. $ 2700 - 3200. VIEW PHOTO

Parker GH Side by Side Shotgun. Cal. 12 g. S # 69326. Overall condition is good to very good. Bore is good to very good. Made in 1892. Has 28 “ Damascus barrels that measure cylinder and cylinder. Built on a #2 frame. Bores are actually very good but have minor dents showing in them, mostly the left barrel. Finish on the barrels is very light patina. Receiver has no finish remaining. Some case coloring on the water table and interior of fore-end. Fore-end condition is very good, showing just light wear. 1040     J.P Sauer & Sohn Drilling. Cal. 12 Ga. / 8x57JR. S # 268028. Overall condition is very good plus to near excellent. Bores are near excellent. A beautiful drilling that would rate near excellent if not for some hand wear on the forend. The only drawback is that it is missing it's scope with claw mount rings. Has 27 3/4" barrels. Greener style locks, with double underlugs (one hidden). Has sliding thumb safety on left sidelock which is engraved with a buck, a doe and 3 game birds. Right sidelock shows a buck and doe running and two ducks taking off. Barrels marked for standard velocity only and are Crupp-Laufstahl. Engraved receiver is coin finished. Has separate selector for rifle barrel, double triggers with one of them single set for the rifle use. Bottom side opening lever allows barrels to move forward, then rise for loading and unloading. Lever, trigger guard and grip cap are horn. Butt plate may be horn or hard rubber as it is black. Receiver is finely engraved in German Arabesque as is bottom of the stock cartridge trap. Left side of the receiver is marked "Frankfort H.O."  right side is marked "Patent W. Collath". Metal surfaces are very good. Shotgun bores show some minor light pitting/corrosion. Rifle barrel shows good rifling but is somewhat frosted in appearance. Forend is sound but checkering worn from hand use. Rear of firearm is most unusual. It has a cast off to allow right shouldering, left eye use. Has a raised cheekpiece. Metal, wood and trigger guard all follow the offset. It would not be feasible to straighten, even with a new stock. The left side has a crack near the receiver, the right side has a couple of splinters of wood missing near the receiver. Very short 5 1/4" handguard that is over the receiver extension. The receiver is very nicely oak leaf engraved with a setter and two game birds on the left side along with "Patent W. Collath". Right side shows a fox and a hare and the word "Frankfurt A.O.". The top tang has a stag head, has a wing type safety resembling the thumb piece to wind a clock. There is a brass oval for initials. The buttstock has a cartridge trap for 5 cartridges on the comb of the stock rather than the bottom. Has a very ornate horn trigger guard that extends back over the straight grip stock to have a place for one's hand so it feels almost like a pistol grip. European style swivels but the front one is broken. Has what looks like a recoil pad but is actually corresponding colored wood with a chip missing in the top right corner of about 1 1/2" length. Small lever by the trigger guard engages the sight for the rifle bore. Metal surfaces show a dull coin type finish on the receiver and the barrels are patina. Appears to have single set trigger which is non-functional in the set mode as it will not set. (07-3689 / NW / EWP) Curio. Est. $ 1400 - 2000. VIEW PHOTO

Matching grip frame numbered inside. Cylinder is not matching and is numbered 00. Left side of barrel marked 45 Colt. 2 line barrel marking of "Colt's Pt F.A. Mfg Co" with second line being  "Hartford CT USA". Much of the firearm is worn smooth and appears to have had cold blue added. Also appears that the barrel may have been turned in one turn as the ejector housing is actually forward of the barrel. One piece walnut grips are slightly loose on the frame but dimensionally fit well. Butt has some nicks in the metal frame and grips. Screw heads are good. Timing and notches need attention. This is one of the earliest of the late smokeless powder frames. Comes with a Appaloosa Trading Company holster from Durango, CO. Drop loop belt is size 42, lightly tooled and has 33 cartridge loops with cartridges. Holster appears designed for 5 1/2" but works equally well for this model. (08-142 / NW / EG) Curio. The cylinder shows thinning blue with some minor pinprick oxidation in the flutes. There is also some pinprick oxidation on the left side of the frame and portions of the grip frame. The timing is off slightly but is fine if the hammer is pulled beyond full cock or if fired double action. Mother of pearl grips show some chips, mostly on the bottom and on the left grip forward portion where it meets the frame. Barrel markings are rolled, not etched. Frame still exhibits some light faded case colors. Screw heads are unmolested. Ejector rod binds slightly. No sign of damage, likely spring needs replacement. (08-335 / NW / DS) Curio. 1051     Remington New Model Army Revolver. Cal. 44. NSN. Overall condition is very good. Bore is near excellent. A civilian model that appears to be carefully reblued, as there is no serial number on the bottom of the barrel. The frame is marked on the left under the grip with an "A" and a 60. It is possible that this gun is actually serial number 60. the number is in the same style and same location as on other guns with a much higher serial number. The markings are very clear on the top of the barrel except for the "E" before the word "Remington." All of the cylinder notches are crisp. The area and safety notches around the nipple are also crisp. All nipples are in near excellent condition. Mechanics are near excellent. The grips are very good with an "A" stamped on the bottom of each. Looks very good. The trigger guard has a vivid "A" stamped, and shows a patina color. The back of the cylinder is marked with an "A" and a "W," with no number present. There is a bright dragline on the cylinder, yet the timing is near excellent, likely caused by the spinning of the cylinder. Numerous metallic marks on sharps edges of the frame and some on corners of the barrel. The grips are likely refinished, as they are smaller than the grip frame. The bore and the mechanics are amazing. (01-1532 / NW / DS) Antique. Est. $ 3000 - 4000. VIEW PHOTO

Remington New Model Army Revolver. Cal. 44. S # 90230. Overall condition is good to very good. Bore is very good. Standard Government model with inspectors model on the grips. There is a small "a" on the bottom of each, a "d" on bottom of trigger guard, a "y" in front of the ramrod latch, a "c" on the side of the frame next to the barrel threads, an "h" on the left side behind the recoil shield, an "h" on the left side of the ramrod section near where is becomes a round rod, a "c" on the cylinder near a safety notch, a "p" on the back of the cylinder, an "a" on the rear of the barrel left side and a "w" on the right side. The barrel is a replacement with number 74386, and has an even, light patina. The frame still shows evidence of good blue finish. The trigger guard fits well. There is a light drag mark on the cylinder, yet the timing is near excellent, likely from someone improperly turning the cylinder. Safety notches show peening around the edges as though someone likely did not position them correctly as they let the hammer down. The grips are pencil numbered to the gun, and show some handling wear and some minor dents at the base of each. (01-1534 / NW / DS) Antique. Est. $ 2400 - 3000. VIEW PHOTO

Remington New Model Army Revolver. Cal. 44. S # 89399. Overall condition is good plus. Bore is poor to fair. The grips, barrel, and cylinder are all matching numbers. The left side of the receiver near the barrel threads and the rear of the barrel on the left side have a letter "j." Trigger guard has "p." On the right side of frame, in corresponding two locations to the "j" is a "w." The cylinder has a "w" next to a safety notch, and there is also a "w" on the left side of the ramrod at the beginning of the rod portion. The upper portion of the nose of the hammer has been shortened or something similar as it does not fit the safety notches properly. Possibly as replacement hammer as operational timing is good but the half cocked notch is not correct as the cylinder bolt does not stay retracted at half cock when attempting to remove the cylinder. Also, the hammer spring is a replacement from some other gun or a handmade type, not Remington. The cartouche grips are pencil numbered to the gun. (01-1536 / NW / DS) Antique. Est. $ 1500 - 2000. Has an overall patina finish. Has New York, U.S. America address, which indicates a replacement barrel. The stamping of the serial number on the barrel further backs this up. There is a broken spring inside. It is a single spring which controls the bolt stop and the trigger. The bottom of the right side of the grip is marked "J.W." Grips show even, normal wear, and a good portion of original varnish is remaining. All screw heads are in good condition, with very minimal signs of use. (01-1533 / NW / DS) Antique. Has a  long fluted cylinder that is numbered to the gun and a grip frame numbered to the gun. Frame shows good evidence of case coloring. The grip frame shows faded bluing in the hand area along with some scattered pinprick oxidation. The right side of the frame on the rear flat shows some pinprick oxidation. The barrel, sight, and ejector rod housing show holster wear. The bore is slightly frosted in appearance, but still in good, shoot able condition. The cylinder shows some light pinprick oxidation and patina finish. The double action mode is mechanically fine. The single action mode is out of time but cylinder will index properly if the hammer is pulled fully rearward beyond the fully cocked notch. 1058     Colt SAA Revolver. Cal. 38 Special. S # 180529. Overall condition is very good. Bore is near excellent. Has 5 1/2 “ barrel. Obviously barrel and cylinder are replacements as the 38 Special. was not introduced until 1930. Has the push button style cylinder release (not a black powder frame). Almost 100% scroll engraved coverage and is gold plated. Very good gold plating, still remaining on the cylinder and on the sides of the hammer that are protected by the frame. Some gold plating is remaining on the ejector rod housing. Very good gold plating on the rear of the cylinder. The face of the cylinder shows that it has been fired. Mechanically in very good condition. Timing is off just slightly, but if the hammer is always brought fully back, not just at the cock notch, timing is fine. Has two piece ivory grips. Where the fit is just a wee bit off, but if the locating pin hole were changed and glass bedded, the fit should be fine. The general appearance of the firearm is that it is nickel plated, likely the gold wash was applied over the nickel. Often considered a black powder transition model. (01-1521 / NW / RC) Antique.
